MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

The mission of HKUST(GZ) is to take the concept of interdisciplinary academic and research excellence to the next level by implementing a unique Hub structure comprising Function, Information, Systems, and Society and 16 thematic thrust areas in concert with the four well-established academic pillars at the Clear Water Bay campus. This new academic framework enables researchers and students to cut across disciplinary and organizational boundaries, while actualizing interaction and synergy. It also bridges diverse research studies to swiftly respond to the needs and challenges of a rapidly changing world.
